Following the deaths of four unarmed black men by Miami-Dade police officers, the ACLU of Florida urged greater oversight powers for a civilian board.

The ACLU of Florida added to the growing chorus of complaints against the Miami-Dade Police Department Wednesday, and urged stronger civilian oversight -- with subpoena power -- of the law enforcement agency.

Ridiculous. "unarmed" is a misleading way to write the story. Two of the guys who were shot and killed were trying to run over cops with a Cadillac Escalade.

IIRC, all of them had criminal records.

Additionally "growing chorus" means a bunch of self-appointed "civil rights" leaders and the NAALCP. Whoopdee-doo.
