If violence skyrockets after the Sadr six month appeal to lay down arms runs out, then clearly Iraqi should understand the need for the Mahdi army to be given an ultimatum. Either fully cease hostilities against the Iraqi people and the occupying forces or face a devastating military defeat. If things continue as is, we should see AQIR totally routed out of Iraq in the next six months or so.
