Has any background information surfaced about the guy who asked the question? What are the odds that he would arrive with a Bible in hand and then be picked spontaneously out of the audience for his question?

When I saw the guy asking the question I got the distinct impression that he was on drugs. Also he wouldn’t use the word “Bible” instead choosing to call it “This book”.

Then maybe your issue is better address with those that ran the debate and asked the questions.

..this is a great and humble man, in the same vein as many of the Founders, who knows that God raises up nations and brings down nations, and that one who would be a true leader must be subject to Him in the full spectrum of his life...

There are an infinite number of atoms on the head of a pin, each of which are circled by electrons.
No, it's a large finite number.
Who placed those electrons there?
Free electrons are naturally attracted to protons through magnetism. If you shake up a bag containing ions and free electrons, you'll get neutral atoms. That doesn't require somebody to lovingly match up protons and electrons.
I believe in God, but I don't support that by misunderstanding science. I like Hunter, but this supposed paradox was false.

For many of us, a person’s ability to articulate what they believe by faith, is a character quality that is very appealing.. whether we agree or not IS a personal matter.. the ability to express what you think/believe is a PUBLIC matter... Using THAT standard in this case Duncan Hunter get’s an A+ period.. ANYONE can give a PC answer to that question without “revealing” what they really think/believe.. having the courage to state what you think/believe even if you know others will disagree is a character quality that I place very highly when choosing a Presidential candidate to support.. I would have more respect for Romney, if he had the ability to ARTICULATE what he really believes as a Mormon, If he did so I would likely disagree with him.. but I would not hold it against him.. rather, on the contrary... I would appreciate his candidness and his ability to articulate his beliefs (a good quality in a President) .. Romney did not do so.. and therefore I have FAR LESS respect for him.. personally

fair enough... You make a good point, but I don’t think the analogy is completely without merit....

I thought he was mocking believers and trying to be a smart-ass.

I think I read somewhere that he basically said no one really believes the Bible and it’s pretty much metaphors.

Hmmm... but that still does not answer the question.

I had a catholic friend but he recently quit returning my calls and emails. Now I hate all catholics. Just kidding, but most of them do need to get saved.

Great observation. Maybe he borrowed one from the CNN producer.

“Free electrons are naturally attracted to protons through magnetism.”
And where did magnetism come from and why, what does it look like? Why does it want electrons and neutrons to get together? Maybe that’s the method God uses to lovingly match up electrons and neutrons.

So, anyone who says they do are basically liars? I'd like to find out what he really said. Maybe I'll do a little looking around.
