In Texas, a business has to post signs outside its premises stating that guns are banned. If there aren't any signs, it can be assumed that one has the right to carry a concealed weapon inside.

I remember when the Texas concealed carry law first went into effect, and busnisses posting new ‘No Guns’ signs were not uncommon. Whether or not to ban was entirely up to the business. I refused to do business with any shop that had one, and I made a point of asking for the Manager to tell them why.
I let them know that they had lost my business because of their policy. Those individuals now carrying had undergone an extensive background check, had passed a safety course, and statistically tended to be among the most law-abiding in society.
I must not have been the only one, because many of the signs came down after a month or two.
