Huckabee will fall. The question is who will pick up his support. My inclination is that Thompson better step over the dead body or he is done.

I don’t care who, but someone must stop Huckabee, RINO world...

For all the concerns about Rudy, he’s conservative on Defense and Economics... On a global level that is key.

Romney and Thompson are fine with me...

But we now have two states of ignoramuses who don’t get it....They want to elect Hillary and have the Feds intrude in our lives even more....

I think the recent rise of Huckabee is largely due to the base beginning to wake to the fact that the election is nearly upon us while, at the same time, noticing this nice talking pastor guy [with the help of the MSM who has been pushing him along]. At the moment, he looks like a good alternative to Rudy, whom they are finally realizing they do not want and do not need to beat Hillary.

However, as the expression goes, the devil is in the details and the details are fast emerging. Now that Huckabee is sitting at the top of some of these polls, the light is being turned on him in earnest. It will take time for what is being disclosed to filter through the base. Ultimately, I don't think a lot of these people are going to stick with Mike.

The race continues to be wide-open and unpredictable. However, I thought this was an interesting tidbit:

The race in South Carolina remains very fluid and could easily be impacted by results from earlier voting. Forty-one percent (41%) of Huckabee’s supporters say they will definitely vote for him but 19% say there’s a good chance they could change their mind.

Just 38% of Romney’s voters are certain they will vote for him while 18% say there’s a good chance they could change their mind.

Among Thompson voters, 41% are certain while just 10% say there’s a good chance they’ll change their mind.
