..because the Iranian regime would never fabricate false charges in order to execute a political prisoner. They are always honest and treat Kurds as fairly as they would anyone else, right?

There are 13 year old sex offenders. HOWEVER, the odds that this man actually is guilty is certainly in doubt. Pope John Paul 2 was reluctant to persue accusations of homosexuality, because it was used by the Communists as a political hammer on opponents. The same hammer could be being used against the accused in this case.
The other possiblity - this individual was raped, and the Iranian regime is executing him for the crime of being a perpetrator.
