I can think of someone one with a Harvard undergrad degree in history and government who was none to swift:

Whether or not she is a box of rocks, I can not say, but you certainly can graduate from some of the so called very best colleges in this country and not be the sharpest tool in the shed.
Just take “graduate” with a grain of salt.
