War On Terror: Democrats were howling last week at the news that the CIA destroyed tapes of tough terrorist interrogations. Once again, they prove they view President Bush as the enemy, not the Islamofascists.


They were falling all over themselves to make analogies to Watergate and otherwise signal that this just might be the scandal for which they've been waiting.

"We haven't seen anything like this since the 18-minute gap on the tapes of Richard Nixon," thundered Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., from the Senate floor on Friday.

Senate Majority Whip Richard Durbin, D-Ill., who once compared U.S. personnel who pry information from terrorists to the Nazis, has asked Attorney General Michael Mukasey for a probe into whether the destruction of the tapes broke the law.

Jane Harman, D-Calif., chairman of the House homeland security intelligence subcommittee, demanded declassification of a February 2003 letter she wrote to the CIA's general counsel after receiving what she called "a highly classified briefing" on the agency's interview practices. The letter "was never responded to and has been in the CIA's files ever since," she complained.

On another note, its time for the Hildabeast to open up the records to what she claims to have done as First Lady, Kerry can sign a -180 form the entire public can see.

The left will not rest until they have destroyed this great country
