Going to be hard to raise money after naming your kids with Hippie names. I personally have a problem giving money to stupidity. Naming kids like that tells me a lot about the parents.
One of the virtues of family names is the give the child someone real and (maybe still) alive to identify with and develop a sense of the continuity of life. If you have a made up or trendy name that relates to no one, you miss that conection.
