It was ruled that he had to give a deposition and the appeals process is going back and forth. I think it stands right now that he has to give the deposition to let the judge decide if he can be called to the stand.
Things have really slowed down right now with the Haditha Marines, Red probably knows about this much better than I.

I have noticed the Haditha pings have slowed. It has been a year. These men should have had a speedy process and enjoying life again by now.
Yep, Murtha is getting DOJ lawyers to fight the deposition order. So taxpayers are picking up the tab for Murtha’s legal bills while the Wuterich family struggles to pay their lawyers.
And all the Wuterich family is asking for is an apology.

I agree with you. I do not trust this disgusting traitor for a moment. He has a political agenda. He puts his democrap party above the best interests of the United States of America. He can not be trusted. If it serves the democrats to drop our troops in the meat grinder, he will do it in a second and defend it to the end. He is a pig, and if his position happens to sometimes support our brave troops, then good, but it is only because it serves the democrats for the moment. I do not welcome him with open arms, I would say not to trust him, he will burn the military down the second he can do it and get positive press coverage for it on MSNBC.

Rush played a sound bite of Murtha’s comments last week and then talked about how Pelosi was having a fit. Murtha obviously saw with his own two eyes that the surge is working. However, Murtha has never let facts or the truth get in his way. I think he intentionally wanted to give a little payback to Pelosi.
Hmmmmm, very interesting. There was that little dust up after the last election, huh? They must be trying to usurp that vast power is supposedly controls.
