One of my coworkers is a black man (whatever you do, don't call David an African-American or you'll end up hearing his tirade about how he's from Mississippi, not Africa) from a small town in rural Mississippi and he is proud of the fact that his great-great-great-grandfather served in the Confederate Army.
David has a big rebel flag hanging in the back window of his pickup and loves to see the shocked expressions on bystanders faces when they see him driving around town.

My cousin lives in Alabama and guess what? He’s Asian! He loves the South and has a big Confederate sticker on his pick up truck as well. He’s been offered jobs in the IT sector (he’s an IT tech guy) but he never wants to leave. He says Southern girls are hot.

I have mentioned the monument to Black Confederate Soldiers that is located in Canton, Mississippi. PC keeps it under wraps but it is a significant obelisk dedicated to the Henderson Scouts, a BLACK MISSISSIPPI Confederate Unit..
