Huckabee the candidate to move country forward
The Nashua Telegraph. ^ | 12/9/2007 | Letter to the editor

Posted on 12/09/2007 6:09:27 AM PST by dano1

I have not been this enthusiastic about a candidate since Ronald Reagan, nor have I ever written a letter to the editor before.

But Gov. Mike Huckabee has sparked that interest, and I strongly believe that he, like Ronald Regan, will be a great leader for our country.

What I like about Governor Huckabee is that he believes this is a great country with great people in it, and if given the chance they can make this country great. He believes that the people know what is best for our country, not the government.

By watching and listening to Governor Huckabee I feel that he strongly believes in our constitutional rights, and if given the opportunity, I believe that he will defend those rights.

He believes that our rights were not given to us by the government, but rather they are a gift from God. He strongly believes that the government is here to protect us, not to provide for us.

I urge all who read this letter to take some time and look at Gov. Huckabee's Web site and see for yourself what this man stands for and what he can offer this country as president.

I truly believe this man can move this country forward and protect our freedoms. I believe that this man has hope for a better future for the American people.

Government doesn’t need to protect us. That kind of thinking is Nanny-state group think. Government needs to stay out of our business.

Any time I see “Move the country forward” I picture “progressive”.

Not a good image for a conservative to project.

Yep. What protects us is the Constitution and specifically the Bill of Rights. Funny, the Bill of Rights protects us from what, exactly?

Why, that would be the United States Government.

If I find whoever wrote this letter to the editor I am going to blow some cigar smoke in their face.

It might shake them out of their brain fog.

I see Huck as moving 30 million illegal aliens "forward" into an amnesty. The only one more likly to commit such treason is Juan McCain.

Since when does a letter to the editor in a Nashua newspaper rate posting as a news item?

Huckleberry Hound is going to flame out as early as next week when all the homosexuals start ‘flaming’ him for daring to suggest in ‘92 that AIDS victims should be quarantined to protect society, you know: like what Fidel Castro did.

Now there is a real conundrum, ya hear what I’m saying here?

I still think the Main-Liner Media is promoting Huck because they know that Queen Charlatan can nuke him in October, 2008 and take over the country. I don’t trust this for a second. Remember, he’s from HOPE too!

Good heavens. I do believe you've hit on something here.

Perhaps we should all chip in for a GPS system for poor dano.

“He strongly believes that the government is here to protect us, not to provide for us.”

By how much did spending increase under Huckabee’s tenure? As in, by what percentage?

And by how many employees did the Arkansas state government grow under his tenure? And how did this compare to Bill Clinton?

It would be irrelevant one way or the other. It would boil down to Queen Hillary or Queen Hillary lite by proxy...

Mike “Open Borders for Jesus” Huckabee is no Ronald Reagan. I worked for President Reagan, and Huckleberry Hound isn’t fit to shine his shoes. He may have buffaloed the sheeple in certain parts of Iowa (my home state, btw) but he isn’t b.s.ing real conservatives. Unfortunately for him, we can read.

I think winning Iowa or New Hampshire is no great indicator of electability if one looks at the history of it.

A very real possibility to be considered. For me it's worse, I see the same thing for Mitt, Huck and Rooty. Nothing but targets that are propped up to be seen by all, then publicly sacrificed by the DBM in the Name of the Queen to "prove" she is unbeatable and must be obeyed.
