LAS VEGAS (AP) - A newspaper poll shows Hillary Clinton's iron grip on Nevada's Democratic presidential nomination is loosening.

According to a phone survey published in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the New York senator is favored by 34% of likely caucus-goers, compared to 26% for Barack Obama.

In the paper's last poll, conducted in October, she had 39% to Obama's 21%.

No other candidate registered in the double digits.

The poll of 625 registered voters had a margin of error of plus or minus 4%age points.

In the Republican field, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani has 25% support and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney 20%.

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee registered the support of 17% of likely Republican caucus-goers despite having no presence in Nevada.

I’d hate to be Obama—or one of his Secret Service agents just now. Wouldn’t vote for the guy, but I really respect him for poking the Wicked Witch of the South (by way of Wellesley) in the eye.

I find interesting in all of these stories that a candidate as weak as Obama is taking a run at Hillary. I said a year or more ago that the only thing Democrats feel worse about that George Bush as President is Hillary at the top of the ticket.

Here's a really good opportunity to see the infamous Clinton War MachineTM in action.

Obama is going to face its entire wrath, especially since the Clinton camp is desperate.

Well, it just goes to show what an empty pant suit she is. Umm, let me rephrase that............

I was thinking about something. I believe there is another faction of the Democrat party at work here who does not want to see Hillary at the top of the ticket or as President.

There are some Decocrats that know what is going to happen if she winds up as President.

I’d guess that BJ has to bear the brunt of her frustrations. They may be hundreds or thousands of miles apart, but their phone calls must be....intense and profanity laden.

Hillary thinks Bubba's actions (with Monica and others) plays no role as far as her supposed leadership. She couldn't even keep her own house in tact.

So all you women out there...There's your role model. And when you find your cheating husband not once but many times with a younger chick...just look the other way....Take him dancing on the beach. And don't forget to advertise in the paper that you love him.

Just one loss in these early caucuses is HUGE. It's the beginning of a snowball. Hillary is praying for global warming right now.

At this point, I'm really concerned with Obama's safety.
