I don’t know about Chuck and Larry, is this a TV show? I’m tube impaired.
Its a movie. “Chuck Levine (Adam Sandler) and Larry Valentine (Kevin James) are veteran FDNY firefighters. Chuck is a womanizer while Larry is a single father trying to raise a daughter and an effeminate son Eric (Cole Morgen). Because of Larry’s sadness and obsession over his wife’s death, he ends up not changing the primary beneficiary of his pension from his wife to his children within the deadline. His only option is to marry someone but Larry admits that there is no woman he knows that he would trust with his children’s future.
While searching a burned out building, Chuck bets Larry that he won’t eat a rat that Chuck has found and skewered. As they banter, the floor of the walkway Chuck is on, about twenty or thirty feet of the ground, gives way, and he falls to the ground, but is caught by Larry. As another piece of wood falls, Larry dives under it, saving Chuck’s life. The two wake up in a hospital, and Chuck tells Larry that he owes him, “anything, anytime”.
Larry finds an article about same-sex domestic partnership rights and decides to “marry” Chuck,” ...and hilarity ensues. Not! The movie turns disgustingly wimpy/preachy, according to most reviewers. Didn’t see it, myself.
