...Hard said she paid more than the minimum payment on her Discover card every month, plus an $8 Internet fee. Wow. Is that a normal fee for a Discover card?

Wow. Is that a normal fee for a Discover card? I have a Discover charge and don't know what the interest is since I pay the balance each month. I have never been charged an "internet fee" and if they ever charge me one, I'll quit doing business with them.

Yeah, for paying online or by phone, they charge you extra.

Wow. Is that a normal fee for a Discover card? Chase Auto charges me a $10 fee if I want to submit my payment online or do it over the phone. They can eat my check in the mail each month those friggin' jerks.
Also, my local DMV charges $3.00 to process a renewal over the web. Another friggin' insult.

No. More likely, she signed up for one of those identity theft insurance schemes that they send you about a million mailers for after you get any new credit card. I have a Discover and I pay no annual fees of any kind. In fact they pay me (rebates of 1% of purchases, 3% for some promotional items).

No. I pay on the Internet every month for free. Life is more expensive when you're stupid.
