There is only one good way to use credit cards. I use my credit card for everything, but I pay in full every month. I never carry a balance. I have always done it this way, even back when we had little money.
Here here! Bills PIF’d every month! I am proud to say I have managed I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t spend more then I make and have zero debt! It can be done... (but UGH some hard work involved)
Same here. If it can be put on the plastic, I do it. My CC company pays me back 1-2% on all purchases and I have 25-55 days of interest free purchases. Works for me!
Same here. The credit card companies hate us. They consider us freeloaders.
Using one credit card for everything and paying it off every month gives you a nice budgetary paper trail, doesn’t it?
It’s what I do too.
“There is only one good way to use credit cards.”
I just take one or two of the twenty or so CC offers I get in the mail each week, apply for new ones...use ‘em up and then toss ‘em when they don’t work anymore.
Just like magic.... more offers appear every week...and I start the whole cycle all over again.
Works for me.
Mortgage payments, insurance premiums, etc. are on bank payment auto-pilot. In fact the mortgaqe payment is semi-monthly; it knocks one year off the 15 year 4.78% loan.
