Two things strike me.

1. The mention of Phil Kline, a tertiary party in the story, as a Republican well before the mention of the primary party, Morrison, as a Democrat. Hilarious.

2. All this talk about Morrison being fired if the allegations are true. This is stupid. He should be fired for what he has admitted to, immediately. He’s admitted to gross irresponsibility to his family, a higher priority than his job, along with using his position and it’s luxuries (travel, offices, courtrooms, etc.) to perpetuate his irresponsible behaviour. If a person can’t be responsible to their family, why would one expect them to be more responsible to their job? Especially when he used the perks of his job in the affair.

A wise man once said he had a dream where people were judged by the content of their character. I wish more politicians shared this dream, and worked to make it a reality.

Who do you suggest should be the one to fire him? He's an elected official. He can resign or be impeached, he can't be fired.
