Seriously, he’s been diagnosed with adult ADD. His staff always noticed that he got “off track” easily so they encouraged him to be tested. He tried the meds for awhile (this was a few years back) and he hated them, so he just deals with it. He was very open and frank about it at the time, and now, of coure, jokes about it, but he does have a diagnosis.
ADD...that explains why he isn’t able to follow up with good questions. He’s already working on his next question and not really listening.
