I’m living in Europe at the moment, so all I have to keep up with the Republican nomination race is the Internet.

I don’t know what the hell is going on with my countrymen: We ask for candidates of substance, and we get them, in the guise of Thompson, Tancredo, Hunter, and (to some extent) Paul. We decry the “circus” to which we are subjected every four years, but we punish candidates who speak from principle and not from poll data.

I will vote for Thompson, and donate to his campaign, though from here I can do nothing else. All my hopes for the future of our Republic rest with Fred Thompson.

I strongly support Fred. I went to his site yesterday and donated more money. I feel Fred will surprise everyone. He clearly shows an serious understanding of the concept of limited government and a deep reverence of our Constitution. I pray enough real conservatives open their eyes to the RINOs and push them aside. Huck is by far the biggest fraud running on the GOP side. He should make any rational person repulsed by his far left record.
