I would vote against it because it is absolutely pointless.
I would vote against it in protest of the time wasted. If liberals ever wanted to howl about violations of the first amendment*, this would be a good one.

*I realize this is a resolution and not a law, but I think the point stands.

Puffing out their chests and making meaningless pronouncements when there are real problems to address is worthy of our contempt.

I agree, but then people like Barbara Boxer would run political ads against you claiming how you are "anti-Christmas".
