Just had a fatal accident in my area (western Wisconsin) where a hispanic male was accused of a hit and run fatality. He crashed his car into a man who was trying to help pull another car out of a ditch. The suspect and a passenger while trying to flee the scene in snowy, cold weather crashed their vehicle. They fled into a farm field. The police simply deduced where the most likely spot for them to emerge was and waited. Eventually the freezing suspects emerged and were taken into custody. The police revealed his name, but neglected to say if he was illegal.
This area has received a large number of hispanics who work in chicken production plants and other food processing factories. Some are legal and some are illegal. But there seems to have been a higher than average number of car accidents concerning hispanic males in this part of the country. Driving safety courses seem to be in order.
Deportation should be the order, not driver safety. Law enforcement should aggressively enforce traffic law violations against illegals. Local law enforcement should cooperate with ICE to facilitate detention and deportation. The illegals will get the message and improve their driving skills.
