“Christmas” is not and never has been a Christian holiday. It’s an attempt by the church to co-opt myriad pagan celebrations and put a “Christian” spin on it.
All the trappings of the season come from pagan religions. What on earth does giving crap to one another have to do with the birth of Jesus the Christ child? The Bible does not tell us to celebrate His birth. It’s a man-made construct to pacify the masses.
Remember His death and resurrection. Obey Him as you go about your life and tell people that He has come that sinful men might have life eternal.
