Now I usually am in agreement with the editorials in the Republican-American; but when I read this this morning, I just couldn’t help but think of old Mssrs. Pape (editor & publisher) and Kellogg (executive editor) as Ebeneezer Scrooges.

Pape (editor & publisher) and Kellogg (executive editor) as Ebeneezer Scrooges. In direct contradiction of my previous remarks, I am coming around to that way of thinking. If that were the most wasteful example of gov spending, I'd be very happy.
