He is wrong on many issues, particularly the border, but I admire him on this. He would be a strong commander in chief.

Nice tagline. I am reminded of what McCain said in the debate earlier today - that we should have a ‘Manhattan Project’ for energy independence.

I would question his being a ‘strong commander in chief’ BECAUSE he is soft on illegal immigration and border security. We simply must secure our borders and ports, and reverse illegal immigration, or we will not be able to consider ourselves secure.
I am amazed that Mr. McCain has not come to this understanding. I’ve heard him say that it would be impossible to get the illegals out of the US. BUT NO ONE HAS TRIED... Cut off their employment (sanctions on the employers), cut off their aid network (no more free services, anywhere), and cut off sanctuary cities from Federal assistance funds (all). That should make a nice start.
