Of course, their motto is "live free or die." ... I said, "You guys are really serious about this." Huckabee truly believes it's the government's job to keep us from doing things that might hurt us. If he supports primary seat belt laws, will he support sin taxes on candy, restrictions on fast food restaurants, or other intrusions of government into our lives, "for our own good"?

I believe that I read somewhere that despite not having a mandatory seatbelt law, New Hampshire has one of the highest seatbelt use ratios.
Passing a law doesn't automatically insure compliance. For an example, try any of the gun control laws.
