Actually, the Gaza Strip, with its beach and palm trees and warm climate, could make for an excellent tourist location. One big and obvious problem, though: the inhabitants keep murdering each other when they're not attacking Israel. No tourist, except perhaps one with the mentality of the late Rachel Corrie, would want to risk the chance of getting hit with a stray bullet or IED while on vacation.
