On another note, he also stated Tuesday, he didn't have the money to pay the judgment to Rep John Boehner.

Woe to the wicked! It will go badly with him, for what he deserves will be
done to him. O My people! Their oppressors are children, and WOMEN rule over
them. O My people! Those who guide you lead you astray and confuse the direction
of your paths. The LORD arises to contend, and stands to judge the people.
The LORD enters into judgment with the elders and princes of His people, It
is you who have devoured the vineyard; The plunder of the poor is in your houses.
What do you mean by crushing My people And grinding the face of the poor?
Declares the Lord GOD of hosts. (Isaiah 3:9-15)

Here's the traitorous nine:
Ackerman
Clarke
DeGette
Hastings (FL)
Lee
McDermott
Scott (VA)
Stark
Woolsey
What's more interesting are the ones who merely answered "present".

Every Who Down In Who-Ville Like Christmas a lot... But The McDermott, Who lived just North of Who-ville, Did NOT!
The McDermott hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season! Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason.
It could be that his head wasn't screwed on quite right. It could be, perhaps, that his shoes were too tight. But I think that the most likely reason of all May have been that his heart was two sizes too small.

A Total Disgusting Putz, thats McD’s MO. :-)

It's a shame we don't have a debtors prison. This a-hole was on the steps of Saddam's Palace condemning America and Bush. I hope the SOB get some kind of punishment out of this.

Boehner’s attorney could start getting writs, seizing McDermott’s property to satisfy the judgment.
If McD owns a car, Boehner could have court officers seize it to sell it for partial payment of the judgment. If McD has a house or other real property, Boehner could slap a judgment lien on the property, then have it forceably sold out from under McD.

Hillary and Kuchinich came out here this year helping the loser raise money for his defense. Some Microsoft or other liberal millionaire will probably pay the debt for him.
I wonder what his re-election percentage will be next year? He usually gets 70+%, he might top 80% this time.

Any word on what was in Pence’ mind?
Protest against the Ramadan resolution?

It all makes sense. He doesn’t have money to buy Christmas presents, so he’s grumpy.

Apparently, some in Congress could not make the vote (e.g., Steve King, R-Iowa), and it’s unclear from the article how much advance notice there was.
Who voted “present?” The article did not list them.

Seattle’s KIRO Radio played a comment from McDermott this morning where he said, “Christmas is about a baby, a baby that had to be born in a Manger. And just as Republicans don’t care about the children by passing a comprehensive Health Care plan, they would be very happy Jesus was born in such conditions.”
This was paraphrased only a little bit because I can’t remember the quote word for word. Amazing this creep still draws 88% percent of the vote in his very leftist district, no matter what he says.

Do these figures include Felons and dead voters?

WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP.
Everthing the elected theives get while in office is given to them by those seeking a favor (called buying their vote), tax payers are forced to provide them with or what they can steal.

i’m not sure which i find more silly, congress debating the importance of Christmas, or people wining about which way someone voted.

You might have a valid point if the “players” were different.
