Everyone says Hillary apologize, but in reading the accounts, all I get is "we're not running a negative campaign"...THAT is not an apology.
How often did the press drill President Bush about apologizing or saying he was sorry when they thought he should have done so over Iraq and a bunch of issues. Now we have Mrs. Clinton making gaffes, mistakes, major insults and do we hear even ONE soundbite that actually says "I'm sorry - I was wrong to do that"...If anyone has a real soundbite, let's hear it, because the networks sure won't play it you can bet on that!
Wonder how many fingers she had crossed to not get struck by lightning for saying that.
I'd be getting a little jumpy were she near me and I was on her campaign....
If Hillary had her arm around Obama, or was patting him on the back, then he should be checking for a knife as she walks away.

The damage was done - the idea is out there for people to mull over. She can apologize or not - it won’t matter except on Mr Obama - and his family. But the voters? Damage done.

No, but malicious and slanderous ones are. Negative campaigning is firmly cemented in the core of American politics.

Candidates have every right to point out their opponents past or present records on issues etc

This is all a ploy.
Her Thighness lets the media say she “apologized,” whether she actually did or not. That gives some people the warm fuzzies.
Then her “people” continue to do the dirty deed, some supposedly getting “fired” here and there, but the deed is still done.
So she positions herself above the fray, the dirty deed gets done and, supposedly the damage is inflicted on her rivals, and she comes out smelling like a Rose Law Firm.
A liberal can never apologize, thats a signal of first blood to them, it hypnotizes them to go in for the kill then. Remember Trent Lott? The more he apologized, the more he was savagely attacked.
Clinton destroy machine is in full operation.

There is always a keyword. The keyword here is "part". They are not a "part of her campaign, they ARE her campaign...
