Most parents are either unaware of the “sex with anyone, at anytime, in any fashion, for any reason” culture pervading today’s campuses. No no, this is nothing new and has been going for ages, trust me...

I’m one of the dinosaurs on FR, having been born in 1950. Of course sexual attitudes were more restrained in the past, especially those of women. (”Nice girls don’t do it and so forth.) Attitudes were even more restrained before the mid-1960s. To get a sense of that, look at old television shows. I remember that in the late 1950s, a man down the street stayed up late at night in order to see the bra commercials on TV. They were considered too sexually-charged for anything other than late night television.

I remember that in the late 1950s, a man down the street stayed up late at night in order to see the bra commercials on TV. hyunh..hyunh..hyunh...He should have subscribed to the Sears catalogue, like Grandpa did.
