Here in Kansas, our governor (not exactly legally) decided to stop a coal plant so she could get some national press. It didn’t get her much of that but did get her a lot of scornful statewide comments. Now she’s quitetly gone to the Repbublicans in the legislature and offered to allow a coal plant, just not as big as the one originally planned.
