I cannot understand how she could possibly have won a seat in Congress

She represents the good citizens of San Francisco. Enough said? ;-)

“Just when you think the dominant left wing of the Democratic Party has hit rock-bottom, one of their partisans reaches new depths in slandering people who have an honest difference with them on policy.”

Why’s this news? That’s been the MO of the Dem Party for decades.

Now, now, now, let’s not sell Pelosi short. There are depths that she hasn’t sunk to yet, so for us to say she’s hit rock bottem is probably premature.

“They want this war to continue. That was a revelation to me. I had thought they would listen to their constituents and change their position.”

The Iraqi problem was Bush I to clean up. The guy with the big ears and the charts and the American electorate made that impossible. The next fellow was beholden to Soros and refused to do anything effective to solve the problem. This convinced Al Qaida that the US was a paper tiger and would disintegrate as had the Soviet Union. If the democrats had any degree of intelligence they would do their best to work for success in Iraq so that their next president will not have an insolvable situation over there (safe terrorist homeland).

Most if not all of the presidential candidates of both parties have been sucked in by the media anti-Bush steam roller and that will be a big problem for all of us after Bush is gone.

I dunno. It would be a way for her to express solidarity with multiple anti-American ideologies simultaneously. I fear that Nancy’s ineptness is only a tempid preview of what we might have under Hillary. I can’t even imagine those two tag-teaming the deconstruction of America.

"She’s an idiot. AND she’s in Congress"

But wait...I thought you had to be an idiot to be in Congress. I thought both "jobs" were synonymous.

Continuously trying to cut off funds to the troops is insane. Military personnel are Americans... One simply doesn’t abandon them financially in a foreign country...

The Lefties think of American Military personnel as a bunch of losers, on the same level as we think of drug addicts. Yeah, they’ll spend money on them if they have to, but they regard it as 100% wasted. They look forward to the day when they won’t have to spend any money on them.

As far as abandoning them, hey, they enlisted, they deserve whatever shafting the Lefties feel like handing them. They very fact they volunteered shows what losers they are. They very idea of risking your life to defend a hellhole like the USA is absurd on the face.

Now conscripting these losers to defend the the United Soviet Socialist States of America, now that's something Lefties could get behind.

"Wow, she seems really punch-drunk here (or just drunk). In her own way, she seems genuinely stunned and gasping."

Pelosi and Harry Reid were always that way with their criticism of the President, since they took power early this year.

The media gave them, and all the others, a pass when they publicly accused the Administration of lying, of being worse than the terrorists, etc. I can think of Fatso Kennedy, Joe Biden, the bozo Senator from Illinois, just to name a few.

Hopefully even some of the MSM will see the truth, now that Iraq is getting better, and call a spade a spade.

I always knew that Pelosi and Reid, calling the surge a failure the week after it started, would backfire on them. I hope they lose the Congress because of it next year. That of course is what they are paranoid about.

Exactly, with 17 seats separating the parties, it is still possible that with a strong national ticket, the GOP could retake the House. Maybe not the Senate, too many seats favoring Dems now, but the House is a real shot. Reid and Pelosi are the dumbest and most nasty partisans since Mitchell and the Tipper.

I would like to hear Republicans blast nasty Nancy for propping up terrorist morale when we have them on the ropes. She’s keeping them in the fight by hoping for a future surrender date.
