Wow, she seems really punch-drunk here (or just drunk). In her own way, she seems genuinely stunned and gasping.

The democrats never, ever learn--their arrogance won't allow them to believe that this...this HICK could actually be smarter than any of them! Their arrogance and self-love is repeatedly tripping them up--the one lie about themselves they can't, just can't let go of is the idea that he's actually an intelligent person, and smarter than any of them.

Maybe one of these days they'll realize what those political opponents who actually know Bush have been saying all along, that the idea that he's stupid is the fatal mistake others make over and over.

Knew a Texan in the oil business, actually the father of a girl I dated back in my youth. He had a degree in engineering from a prominent Texas university, served as a bombardier in the Army Air Force in WWII ... his aircraft, damaged by flack over Germany, made it back to the English Channel and ditched. The crew was rescued and went on to complete their tour. The point I want to make, anytime he had business dealings that took him to NYC or Washington, he wore his stetson and cowboy boots which he wore infrequently in Texas. He turned up his Texas twang a notch or two and took a great deal of pleasure in creating the impression with northeastern business types that he was just a hayseed steer dung kicker from Texas. It worked, he made a bundle of money in his career.

More like she’s drunk from drinking her own punch.

"Wow, she seems really punch-drunk here (or just drunk). In her own way, she seems genuinely stunned and gasping."

Pelosi and Harry Reid were always that way with their criticism of the President, since they took power early this year.

The media gave them, and all the others, a pass when they publicly accused the Administration of lying, of being worse than the terrorists, etc. I can think of Fatso Kennedy, Joe Biden, the bozo Senator from Illinois, just to name a few.

Hopefully even some of the MSM will see the truth, now that Iraq is getting better, and call a spade a spade.

I always knew that Pelosi and Reid, calling the surge a failure the week after it started, would backfire on them. I hope they lose the Congress because of it next year. That of course is what they are paranoid about.

Too much kool-aid drinking.
