Every candidate seems to be doing it, so it looks like Fred has decided to get in on the apology action.

Fred needs to get off his dead butt and push conservative positions, hard. According to one count Romney is making six campaign appearances for every one made by Thompson.
Not so sure that calling him lazy is just a campaign trick.
He started late, he has to work harder.
Fred has been making plenty of campaign stops in all of the crucial states, it’s just not being reported .
And while campaign stops are good , hitting the airwaves will be far more effective in most of the crucial states .
Fred has a ton of these great ads to run and I hope he plans on doing it , they will be very effective .

That story is from a September 15 article and was focused on a very narrow slice of time. Thompson has released schedules to refute this MSM myth, but don’t expect the left to quit spredding the propoganda.

Hi Friends, I thought you might be interested in reading this transcript of a conversation between Glen Beck and Mike Huckabee, along with Glen’s comments about their surprise meeting. In my opiion it is quite telling of Mike Huckabee who is supposed to be “Christian like”.

Do a google search. I found a september article that said Romney had made six times as many campaign stops as Thompson, but it covered a stretch of time when Fred was traveling long distances and Romney was walking from one diner to another.
Also, doesn’t Hugh Hewitt have a dog in the fight.
You are right. Fred’s fault is not showing enough of himself.
It bugs me because today on FOX, they were showing a couple of snippets of his meetings he’s holding in Iowa (I think); well .. anyway .. in the video - Fred is very animated - moving around the stage a lot - using his arms and I thought to myself .. WHERE IS THAT FRED ..?? I HAVEN’T SEEN THAT GUY ON TV.
Hugh Hewitt is a raving, maniacal MittWit. Using his ‘facts’ about Fred Thompson, you may as well be using DNC talking points.

He is. I’ve had a whole lot of respect for Hugh Hewitt. But now that he’s pushing his book, and put his blind trust in Romney, he’s lost a whole lot of respect. His antipathy for all other candidates is pathetic.
