No one concerned with conservative ideals would ever vote for Romney. A vote for Romney is a vote against true conservatism. But, it might be that many who are otherwise conservative just imagine that Romney could win, so they want to support the winner so that when he gets into office he might favor them with scraps from his liberal table.
Romney is NOT a principled conservative choice, but he IS a desperate one.
“National Review” and Bork....tend to disagree with you. I think I like their assessment a little better than yours.
