The twin blasts that caused such devastation in Algeria this week posted a grim announcement that an Islamic group, once thought to have been defeated, is back in its bloody business. Poised to extend its ruthless tactics throughout North Africa, it is making the first stop towards its ultimate target - the European continent. Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, (AQIM) is becoming a dominant element in Osama Bin Laden's global terror ambition. The attack in Algeria last Tuesday seems clearly linked to the regional strategy of weakening the secular governments in North Afirca, the Maghreb, resuming the 1990s warfare against Kuffar (infidel) institutions, society and administrations.
But unlike in the past decade, these operations are now strategically coordinated with Al-Qaeda central direction, not only in terms of operations, but by distinct policies and international decision-making.
Al-Qaeda may have lost its grip in some areas, but certainly has grown into dangerous proportions in another highly strategic environment, creating "clear and present" threat to European nations, which already have a significant portion of unstable Muslim immigrants, an ideal breeding ground for local terrorist and insurgency.

BUMP TO THE TOP!!!!!!!!!!!
Woooo! AQ’s getting their butts kicked.
However, Europe will probably let ‘em with no scruples, seeing as how they’re going about the Muslim population skyrocketing in European cities. What’s sad is, in Europe, al-Qaida need not blow everyone up to conquer them, they can do it just by having children. The Euroweenies are too PC and will easily give in to Shariah law.
Europe’s appeasement has shown radical Muslims that they are an easy target.
Welcome to your new reality, Europe.
Of course, when this comes to pass, it will be blamed on Bush.
I’m sure they won’t wait.
Three generations of Socialism in Europe has emasculated the population. They will not fight.
I think Western Europe is doomed to Islamo-fascist slavery, but I still hold out hope for the former Eastern Bloc countries - they know how good they’ve got it now, and won’t let crazy Muslims mess it up.
I’m also still holding a candle for Great Britain - may she return to her glorious past.
Yes, the trouble with Iraq, is that we are fighting back. They’d prefer sitting ducks that will not defend themselves.
How you gonna keep um back in the caves , after they’ve bombed paree .
Exactly. European Muslims don’t need car bombs and RPG’s. They have a growing population that can use the ballot box and the courts to seize control.
LMAO!
Seriously, I see Europe waking up. They *do* much different than they *speak*. They don’t have near the constraints on their police that we do here. The leftists there tend to feel quite a bit different about their own institutions being blown up.
You mean like Cut&RunocRats?
Pray for W and Our Killer Troops
Correct, but it is also correct that many European Muslims are angry with Al Queda because they queered that game for them. They say “Stupid Al Queda, we were winning everything until they scr*wed it up! Now the infidels are catching on!”
Al Queda doesn’t have the time or patience for demographic games.
Hope they can take care of themselves....the might of America will not.
Iraq was not a war, just a battle.
The new Europe may look remarkably like medieval Spain. After losing most of Spain to the Moors, the Spanish fought for 800 years to get their country back. The 800 years was not one grand battle after anouther, but mostly a low level war of controlling one farm at a time. The WOT in Europe will look more like a Mafia/street gang war, off the books as far as the military and police are concerned.
The anti-war Bush-hating citizens of Europe will welcome Al Qaeda with open arms, I’m sure...
“They have a growing population that can use the ballot box and the courts to seize control.”
Here in the US they have the dims, the ACLU and the active secularists in Hollywood on their side.
