If the SCOTUS rules in favor (I think it will), the entire Democrat party will become pro-gun or at least neutral. It's already starting with individual candidates around the nation. I'll believe that when I see Chuck Schumer and Ted Kennedy co-sponsor a bill to repeal Title 18, Section 922(o), the Brady Law, the Lautenberg Law and the '68 GCA. And then REALLY support it so that it passes. Same in the House for McCarthy and Pelosi.
While hope springs eternal, I'm not holding my breath.
I doubt the leadership will change quickly, if ever. But the grassroots candidates, those for state office and even govenorships have already begun the change. This is the result of public opinion, not court rulings.
Even as I see and say it however, I'm not holding my breath either... ;-)
