Huckabee is demonstrably far more liberal than any of the other first tier candidates on taxes, immigration, his opposition to the war on terror (he just bad-mouthed Bush on this), and support for various nanny-state programs.
He's conservative on precisely the issues that a president has least influence over: abortion and gay marriage.
He has shown the same political sympathies on most issues as ultra liberals John Edwards and Barack Obama--abortion being the big exception.

Hucky seems a lot like another Govenor of Arkansas.
I don’t need another President or “First Lady” from Arkansas.
Politics in Little Rock create egos that put them above representing the best interests of most Americans.

Huckabee is demonstrably far more liberal than any of the other first tier candidates on taxes Actually, he cut and reformed the tax code more than any of the other upper tiered candidates with the exception of McCain.
And, did see where Huckabee opposed the war on terror, either.
