...scrambling to cope...

Yeah, right.

“His campaign is working feverishly to right itself, zeroing in on Mr. Huckabee’s past moderate record...”

From Romney, this is a real hoot!

It seems to me that our party will indeed be scrambling if this open-borders, big-government “conservative” is nominated. And that nomination is seeming increasingly possible based upon multiple polls.

“You’re going to do something which people don’t expect,” Mr. Romney told them, “which is give me a victory.”

I read another article recently that stated there were plenty of empty seats at most of the Mitt Wit's campaign appearances in Iowa.

He sort of reminds of a has-been rock group struggling to fill seats at a country fair.

It took no time at all for the national media to start attacking Huckabee once his numbers started to rise.

Kinda reminds me of when Pat Buchanan won the New Hampshire primary in '96.

Mr. Huckabee, in his latest campaign swing through New Hampshire, sounded almost like John Edwards, a Democrat running for president, when he decried what he called “fat cat” chief executive officers and their outsize paychecks.

Gawd almighty.

I’d ignore Huckabee now. He has already peaked but the polls aren’t showing it yet.

Wait until the Arkansas GOP contingent shows up at some of these events more other candidates.

But I did love the comment from Huckabee when he said that being called a democrat wasn’t all that bad.

Yeah, that doesn’t tell me anything.....
