That is a perfectly rational answer. The globe is warming, what is in dispute is the cause. As FDT said in his Harvey article, the other planets are warming as well.

If we can reduce CO2 WITHOUT harming the economy (operative idea there) it would be a way to help a little and offset any possible impact we may have down the road. Again anything we can do that won't impact our lifestyle and economy.

Now if he was to support Gore’s toss out the whole culture to save a seal crap...

There's significant doubt that it's warming, and the idea that CO2 is the cause is just silly.

Well, we can't, and there's no reason to. The whole thing is a hoax, and I completely reject the idiotic premise. Human-generated CO2 has zero effect on climate.

No such thing. Anything we do will impact our lifestyle and economy, otherwise it wouldn't be "doing" anything.
