"What’s your connection to…this…Serbian thing?”
I get that a lot. I usually answer: “Just being an American hyper-patriot.”
That was, after all, my original motivation for protesting a war for the first time in my life at the age of 25. When my country bombed a European nation on behalf of Muslims making the usual claim of oppression, my concerns were two-fold: America’s security, and America’s soul.
It’s hard to describe the dizzying disorientation I felt on March 24, 1999, the day I learned that the United States was going through with bombing an ally from two world wars. It was more surreal than September 11, 2001, for on the latter date I wasn’t alone in my disorientation. Perfect description. I remember it well.
We have no business supporting Kosovo’s independence. These are muslims, radicl muslims, and Kosovo is a training ground for Islamists terrorists.
In addition, it only pisses the Russians off which really serves us no purpose. When will the Dems demand we ‘bring the troops home’ from Clinton’s unilateral war?
Except for the age, this paragraph could be describing me. I even used Clinton's suicidal policy in Kosovo is one of the pieces of information showing we were in danger of an attack by Islamists. After all, when you arm terrorists, you can't expect them not to kill you. And then 9/11/01 happened.
We lost Russia, because of Kosovo. We had spent the better part of the decade trying to woo Russia into the fold, and Kosovo totally destroyed that.
We should look carefully at this model, as this is the model that The US is following. Kosovo is simply the model of what could happen to America unless we control immigration and allow only people of any race, color or creed who are willing to assimilate into our culture and become Americans.
