I think a more valid question might be with Fred's timing. He began a two week 50 city Iowa tour yesterday night in Dubuque. Provided he stays true to this schedule, I think the "lack of energy" argument can't hold up.
One can argue that this is too late, or that meeting directly and personally with as many people as possible is a bad strategy. But I just don't see the "no energy" argument as more than a branded label created and perpetuated by the media.
Others here have stated that his number and frequency of campaign appearances are second only to Sen. McCain. I can probably dig out a source for that, if you need one.
It looks like he's going to be keeping a
video blog of his tour. I'll certainly be watching to see how he does.
That’s all good news and a good begining towards changing attitudes!
Now how can we (Fred) begin to turn the common perception around?
How about finding a young energetic celebrity, perhaps a singer, to endorse him and tour with him?
How about having an young, inspiring kick-off speaker to introduce him at each stop?
