Summary: Large AC unit was installed specifically to keep the Bali delegates cool. Apparently a non-CFC friendly system that used highly damaging refrigerant gases - as lethal to the atmosphere as 48,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide, according to the source.

Good times!

My theory on CFC is that they counteract other greenhouse gases by creating ozone holes which allow the other greenhouse gases to escape, thus saving the world.

I read the ozone hole over Australia is smaller this year than it was last year.

That’s because the ozone hole over Algore is larger than ever.

I read the ozone hole over Australia is smaller this year than it was last year.

And who was the incompetent moron who let that slip out!!! Sure the hole expands a couple inches one year and then contracts an inch or two the next, but the journalists are only allowed to talk about it when it expands. They are required to keep quiet and run old news during the times it is shrinking to maintain the myth of man-caused global warming... where did you read that? we need to assassinate the reporter and the editor responsible for this before everyone figures this out.... what a mess!!! </sarcasm>

Then they put out fake statements about it:

Bali delegates cut power dressing
December 4, 2007

Ties and jackets are out and casual clothes are in, to save on air-conditioning at this week’s global climate change summit in steamy Bali. (snip)

No, but they'll try to force everyone else to do so.
