WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul is planning on keeping a contribution from a former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, according to a campaign spokesman.

Don Black, who runs the "Stormfront" website with the motto, "White Pride World Wide," recently donated $500 to Paul. Black is a South Florida resident, and is married to the ex-wife of former Louisiana legislator David Duke, himself a former Klansman.

"We like his stand on tight borders and opposition to a police state," Black told the Palm Beach Post.

Black also indicated he supports Paul's opposition to amnesty for illegal aliens and his strong desire to end the U.S. war in Iraq.

LOL!! It's a non-story and Dr. Paul rightly smacked Neil Cavuto down about this very afternoon. I have to hand it to Fix News. Everytime they attack Dr. Paul's numbers go up a point. Now according to ABC/Washington Post, he's in a 3 way tie for 3rd in Iowa with St. Rudy and Mr. 'Can I get a round of applause here?'

Of note, since you didn't listen to the interview and are in blind attack mode, Dr. Paul rightly stated to return the money is pandering. Is St. Rudy going to return the money to the PACs who actually do have power and care less about the citizenry? How about Arthur Branch? Because I can assure you, contrary to the party 'faithful', not everyone of their supporters is lily white. But please do continue. It's actually becoming funny.

Ron Paul worries me as much, and possibly more, than any of the ‘Rat candidates do.

And what does Ron Paul do today. He runs a Christmas ad, just like Huck

LOL, oh my!! Look at the date on the ads sunshine. They're right there on Youtube. Dr. Paul's ad was released a week earlier than Tax Hike Mike. Tell the pastor to give Dr. Paul's sweater back

Awesome, Paul did it first!

Puts his fascism whine in a different light, he wasn't surprised, he'd done a similar ad, he simply thinks Huck is a bit too Christian, a fascist, which is fine.

Ron should get his positions out there.

Odd, he's OK with support from fascists who claim to be Christians, the topic of the thread.

No, but I will look at it later.

Why is it that our home-grown Nazis, the counterparts of the architects of one of the world's most brutal police states, are all against a "police state?"

They're not, it's simply that they want to run the police state.

I realized a long time ago that leftists almost always have a very distorted idea of what fascism/Nazism really is. Generally, they accuse the people who OPPOSE their fascism/Nazism of being fascists and Nazis.

No, several of Huckabee's positions get a pass because he is a 'Christian'. I'm a Christian and Huckabee disturbs me!!

Odd, he's OK with support from fascists who claim to be Christians, the topic of the thread.

I watched the 'interview' and I didn't get that at all. What I got, and he's as much stated this before, if you give money to Dr. Paul expecting something, you're in for a disappointment. Whoever this nut is, he's in for a disappointment. And Dr. Paul stated it tonight, last night on Beck, and many, many times before. Neil Cavuto was sent out to do something (slur Dr. Paul) and he failed heinously. Again.

This is not a new issue.

As I've noted earlier, Republican candidates have rejected support from this venue, including the last three Republican candidates.

The last national candidate I can think of in bed with hate was George Wallace, a position he regrets. Pat Buchanan suggested incorporating some of Dukes positions into the GOP in the late 80s, but his idea was rejected.

If Ron Paul wants $500 from a Jewhating, racist felon, that's his decision, and I'm sure he'll live with it.

I think he's lacking a moral compass, but that's just me, and who knows, this may be a big plus for Paul. Time will tell.

So you are saying cut and run has only been attacked 2 or 3 times? Or did he start out in the negative numbers?

Ouch, that could leave a mark.

The reality is that any time MoRon Paul’s numbers go up, his totally unhinged supporters more than counteract it by simply acting like themselves.

A higher profile is a problem when you're the only candidate with higher negatives than Hillary.
