I believe the defense attorney for this teacher sex case once ran for that position as a republican a few years back, she is hard as tack but also does her job as a defense attorney well also.
Nevermind, she ran for District Judge and lost, big. DC is one of those cities that votes Republican national and state but democrat locally.
It isn’t the defense attorney’s fault. And it really isn’t the Judge’s fault, either. The blame falls on the DA.
I didn’t suggest either the Judge or the defense attorney in the case as being at fault, just replying to your suggestion that a defense attorney needs to run against the county attorney.
