A study by the U.S. Congressional Budget Office released Tuesday backs up the view that undocumented immigrants sap more tax dollars than they provide, especially in education, health care and law enforcement.
The study pulled together reports from the past five years, using data from sources including the Pew Hispanic Center, the Rand Corp., the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and various universities. The Congressional study also incorporated facts from states, including Arizona, but its authors acknowledged there was no aggregate estimate that could be applied to the entire country.
The report says that in 1990, 90 percent of undocumented immigrants primarily were in six states: California, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, New York and Texas.

REALLY???
Gee, maybe the same geniuses can let me know if those 2 pizzas and 3 cheesecakes that I scarf down everyday have any connection with my elevated cholesterol levels?
Captain Obvious strikes again! Kinda makes me tear up.
can we invoke the spirit of reagan and get some done here or what?
What's not so obvious is the likely fact that they will next propose the "obvious" solution.... more taxes to make up the gap!
Also, the sky is blue and water is wet.
bump for publicity
No, we have to legalize them, so we can safely say illegals don’t consume more resources.
/channeling dem talking points
I think these numbers are way too low:
53.3 million school-age children in the U.S.:
2 million are undocumented immigrants
3 million who are legal citizens, but parents are not
“/channeling dem talking points”
And McCain, Graham, Marinez, and too many “Republicans” and “conservatives”.
I saw a report awhile back that said illegals are 1/10th of the population. Maybe Bear Stearns?
If that is true the rest is not hard to figure out. The stats are waaaaaaaaay low.
So what. That study was just money down the drain because after today’s amendment against the fence there won’t be another foot of it built.
I guess that big ole 2x4 finally hit them in the head.

PING!!
FReepmail to be added to the Congress Watch Ping List.
IBTCOP (in before the captain obvious pics)
No kidding. It’s pathetic. What is heartening, though, is seeing county and state government enacting laws and grass roots groups banding together to do what the federal government won’t. Slowly the tide begins to turn.
BUMP
>>Kinda makes me tear up.<<
I have tears from laughter at your post!
LOL, too funny!
If Congress does not utilize this report to end illegal immigration, US Citizens will.
