Putin is not a communist. He realized that the world have changed and that it does not benefit Russia to go back to a stagnant Soviet economy.

Now Putin is more of a fascist. Russia is not a totalitarian state yet..........

I would agree on all counts actually. But I do place a lot of emphasis on your ‘yet’. That’s where it’s headed IMO.
