IOW, the second amendment overrides the commerce clause, as do all the other amendments when there is a conflict. No one's rights are being violated by Congress. A felon abrogated their own rights when they committed the crime. The 2nd Amend doesn't protect felons, or the dangerous due to mental defect. The list is composed of felons and those dangerous due to mental defect. There's also the misdemeanor domestic violence crap, but that's separate matter.
