I used to lean toward the conclusion that liberalism was just incredibly idiocratic, but since 9/11 I’ve become conviced that there’s is something fundamentally wrong in the liberal mind. Liberals have always characterized Chrisianity as something ‘scarey’ that truly frightened them, regardless of how benignly the message of Christ was presented. I wrote this off as intellectual hysteria. Then 9/11 happened, and religious Islamic exremists senselessy murdered nearly 3,000 innocent people. However, I’ve still yet to hear liberals refer to Islam as ‘scarey’. Instead, they bow and humble themselves before Islam, talk about ‘sensitivity’ and embracing suicidal murderers in the spirit of ‘diversity’. They invite Islam to do things and into places where Christianity would not be tolerated for an instant. This is clearly a totally irrational response to fear and hysteria. It’s clear they don’t fear Christianity, or they would kowtow to it as they do to Islam. And they have not the slightest insight as to how fear and destructive emotionalism dictates what they consider to be reason and logic. If nothing else, they are emotionally retarded.
