I'm posting a few articles from the trail. This one's a day old, but does have some response about to the snarky Politico.com article.
I love Fred's strategy of hitting local media. The absolute right thing to do in Iowa. People here read and trust their local media more than any other source.

I think he is doing this just right. By now, people are getting tired of "canned" political speeches. Fred is just being Fred--what you see and hear is what you get.
I think we are all tired of hearing politicos tailoring their remarks to fit what they think the folks want to hear.

thanks for that. I agree Thompson is going to go over big to the people which is what it is all about.

A day old, eh? It would have to age considerably longer to remove the stench of the alleged journalist, to wit:
''...and his wife, Jeri Thompson Kehn. ...''
Or, perhaps this ia a new fashion: the bride inserts the groom's name between her first and last names? < / sarc >
Right. Gawd, I need to get a job as a proofreader if this is even remotely typical of today's efforts.

I never even heard of Muscatine before a couple of days ago. This is at least the second story from there. Are the Des Moines, Cedar Rapid, Dubuque, &c. folks fed up with the pols?
