New polling data released today shows that Hillary Clinton and Mitt Romney have the highest level of core opposition among the leading Presidential candidates. Forty-seven percent (47%) are poised to vote against each of them.

Will the GOP make the mistake of nominating a candidate with negatives as high as Hillary?

It could be a race for the bottom. Sure, why not?

I have always felt that the former first co-dependent could not win the presidency because too many people dislike her (her negatives are too high). What a disaster it would be to even that playing field by nominating a RINO like Romney with equally high negatives. That would make it possible for the former co-dependent to have a chance and also create fertile ground for a "Ross Perot" type third party candidacy to draw away enough conservative votes to give us a repeat of the 1992 and 1996 elections.

I hold much hope though.

People like you are just having a temper tantrum because you have over-rated Fred Thompson. He is not that great. He was in the Senate during the Clinton years, I never heard him taking any stands during that time. Also, he waited until he was a Senior Citizen to settle down. I hardly doubt he was living a conservative life style during his bachalor days. Maybe thats why I never heard him take any stands during the Clinton Days, he probably knew he couldn’t. You just give him way too much credit to the point where you are willing to slander anyone who opposes him. I think it’s ridiculas.
